1 large can pumpkin
3 eggs
31/2 cups milk ( canned milk with water)
11/2 white sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp ginger (scant)
pinch of ground cloves
2tsp salt (scant)
Yield : 4 pies
Bake in 350 until firm.
PASTRY:
4 cups flour
1/2 tsp b powder
4tsp br sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1lb of lard
2tsp vinegar
1 egg
water
Mix dry ingredients,cut in lard.
Mix in measuring cup egg and vinegar.
Fill to 3/4 cup w/water.
Mix with dry ingredients.
Chill.
Yield : makes up to 4 pies single shells.
